Role: Influencer Billing Specialist

Location: Philadelphia, PA (remote but local for as needed meetings)

Salary: $80-100k DOE

Clutch is looking for an Influencer Billing Specialist with advertising, media, or marketing agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payments for influencers, agencies, and campaigns.
  • Approve budgets and balances before processing payments.
  • Track purchase orders from launch through reconciliation.
  • Utilize the vendor management system to input data for influencers and agency billing.
  • Validate contracts, invoices, W-9s, and other payment documentation.
  • Confirm that deliverables, fees, and invoices align before authorizing payment.
  • Process payments to influencers or talent agencies according to contracts.
  • Resolve rejected invoices, documentation, payment delays, duplicates, and billing issues.
  • Reconcile spending against approved budgets, forecasts, and payments.
  • Create reporting on outstanding invoices, payments, and budget risks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Recommend improvements across billing workflows.
  • Monitor billing activities for discrepancies and ensure all processes align with internal policies and agreements.
  • Setup and maintain vendor profiles in the accounting system.
  • Maintain organized records for all jobs to streamline future audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
  • Experience working in an advertising, media, or marketing agency required!
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data formatting, and organization.
  • Proficient in accounting and billing software.
  • A communicator who can build strong rapport with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong time-management skills.
