Clutch is looking for an AI/ML Engineer for a start-up client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, optimize, and deploy production of ML infrastructure, vector search engines, and LLM workflows.
  • Establish rigorous automated evaluation frameworks to benchmark model performance, bias, and output accuracy.
  • Build pipelines for automated data labeling, model deployment, and analytical data processing.
  • Debug model behaviors to guarantee trust in mission-critical applications.
  • Partner directly with company leaders to shape technical architecture, product direction, and engineering standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of production software engineering experience with demonstrated leadership in technical decision-making.
  • Proven track record of shipping and scaling LLM solutions, models, and AI infrastructure.
  • Strong instinct for model interpretability, evaluation metrics, and debugging AI systems.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, start-up environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills and high standards for technical quality and execution.
