Clutch is looking for a talented Lead Videographer for a client of ours. Our client is a full-service creative agency known for producing top-tier commercial imagery and digital content. In this role, you will lead visual storytelling efforts in the studio and on set, combining technical camera mastery with creative direction to bring brand visions to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Visual Production: Plan and execute high-end video and still photography shoots, utilizing advanced camera work, dynamic lighting setups, and precise framing to exceed client benchmarks.
  • Creative Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, direct, and set technical specifications for junior and account photographers, ensuring output consistently aligns with client brand guidelines.
  • On-Set Collaboration: Partner closely with art directors, stylists, and production crews to build seamless workflows and deliver striking media assets on tight schedules.
  • Asset & Equipment Management: Oversee digital asset storage, library organization, and file management; maintain studio spaces and ensure top-tier care, inventory, and maintenance of all camera and lighting gear.
  • Innovation & Technique: Continually research, test, and implement emerging video trends, lighting methods, and software platforms to solve complex creative challenges.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong rapport with internal teams and external clients, integrating creative feedback constructively and presenting solutions with a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Portfolio: A strong commercial videography/photography portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative vision and technical expertise across diverse client briefs.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to lead visual teams, direct sets, and mentor junior creative staff.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving: Ability to thrive under pressure, manage long production days, and adapt quickly to shifting set conditions or project requirements.
  • Technical Mastery: In-depth mastery of professional camera systems, studio and field lighting, audio capture, and digital asset management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a receptive attitude toward creative feedback and continuous iteration.
