Role: Freelance Traffic/Project Manager

Location: United States (Must be located in and authorized to work in the US)

Hybrid/On-site/Remote: Remote (CST)

Hourly Rate: $30-40/hour

Clutch is looking for a Freelance Traffic/Project Manager to support an independent, integrated ad agency. We need someone who excels at managing timelines, facilitating meetings, and keeping projects on track. You will work closely with the Director of Project Management to ensure high-quality delivery across various client accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Project Lifecycle: Own projects from the initial brief to final delivery. Create and manage timelines, foresee potential risks, and keep all team members updated on status and milestones.
  • Lead Communication: Facilitate internal meetings, document key decisions and action items, and serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. Escalate roadblocks immediately while providing proposed solutions.
  • Drive Studio Operations: Lead the daily standup meeting to ensure focus and alignment. Provide leadership with visibility into active work to assist in decision-making and resource planning.
  • Maintain Systems: Become an expert in monday.com, ensuring all project boards are accurate, up-to-date, and clean. Support the development and improvement of agency PM processes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Build effective working relationships with creative, account, and media departments. Stay calm under pressure and proactively communicate when team capacity or deadlines are at risk.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of project management experience, preferably in a creative agency setting.
  • Action-Oriented: Proactive about keeping work moving without needing constant reminders.
  • Reliable: Takes full ownership of deadlines and flags potential issues early.
  • Problem Solver: Identifies inefficiencies and is comfortable suggesting improvements.
  • Diplomatic: Able to navigate internal team dynamics effectively and collaboratively.
  • Organized: Naturally enjoys creating structure and maintaining clean, accurate project documentation.
  • Flexible: Comfortable staying productive and focused when project priorities shift.
