Hybrid/On-site/Remote: Hybrid (On-site 2 days a week)

Clutch is looking for an experienced Art Director / Senior Art Director for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Ownership: Take complete accountability for projects from the initial brief through strategy, design, and final production across digital, social, and print mediums.
  • Hands-on Execution & Craft: Develop original visual concepts and execute them yourself with an exceptional eye for typography, layout, and modern brand design.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship (Senior Level): Manage and develop a team of junior/mid-level designers and copywriters. Provide clear, constructive critique and push the team toward higher creative standards.
  • Client Collaboration & Pitching: Confidently present creative concepts and the strategic rationale behind them to internal stakeholders and brand clients.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate seamlessly with copywriters, strategy teams, and account managers to ensure visual assets achieve overarching business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years (Art Director) or 7+ years (Senior Art Director) of hands-on agency or boutique design studio experience.
  • Portfolio: An exceptional design portfolio showcasing a heavy design aesthetic, diverse brand systems, and end-to-end campaign ownership.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and contemporary digital tools (Figma/Sketch).
  • Leadership Capability: Proven ability to direct, organize, and mentor creative staff while maintaining the highest standard of creative excellence.
  • Mindset: A self-starter attitude with extreme ownership over the work, able to switch seamlessly between high-level strategy and pixel-perfect execution.
