Role: Senior Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote (MUST be based in the U.S.)

Salary: $110-135k DOE (w2 only!)

Clutch is looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) with Atlassian experience for an agency client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discovery to define client needs, scope boundaries, and project risks.
  • Author Proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with company standards and pricing.
  • Partner with Account Executives to support the sales cycle through demos and deal qualification.
  • Develop resource plans to ensure delivery feasibility and successful handoffs.
  • Standardize SE workflows and templates to improve pre-sales efficiency.
  • Stay expert-level in the Atlassian ecosystem and internal service catalogs.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, product gaps, and solution evolution.

Requirements:

  • Atlassian Certified (Jira Administrator or equivalent).
  • Bachelors degree in technology, computer science, or similar required.
  • Background in technical scoping and pre-sales within professional services.
  • Skilled in Atlassian Cloud migrations, JSM, or enterprise deployments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, ITSM, and project management.
  • Ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse client and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset focused on risk mitigation and scope integrity.
