Role: Digital Strategist - Pharma
Location: Remote (Must be based in the U.S.- EST preferred)
Rate: $45-60/hr DOE (w2)

Clutch is looking for a Digital Strategist with pharmaceutical agency experience for a client of ours, specifically in Medical Affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive omnichannel digital engagement strategy, focusing on creating seamless, personalized experiences.
- Serve as a key thought leader and advisor, both internally and externally, on the evolving digital landscape, emerging technologies, and best practices in pharmaceutical marketing and medical affairs.
- Oversee journey mapping, persona development, and audience segmentation to inform and optimize engagement strategies across all touchpoints, including but not limited to web, email campaigns, and Veeva platforms.
- Partner with marketing, analytics, brand teams, and IT to ensure data integration and a 360-degree view of the customer, enabling personalized content and timely delivery of information.
- Ensure all digital engagement strategies and tactics are fully compliant with relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations, including HIPAA, FDA guidelines, and other privacy laws.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of omnichannel initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead new business and organic growth initiatives by presenting compelling digital and omnichannel strategies that align with business objectives and market needs.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in digital engagement strategy within a pharmaceutical agency setting.
- Previous experience in the Medical Affairs space.
- Deep expertise in omnichannel marketing principles and a strong understanding of the unique regulatory and compliance landscape within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Pharmaceutical RFP response experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and customer insights into actionable and innovative digital strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in Veeva platforms, including Veeva CLM and approved emails.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, or Communications.
