Clutch is looking for a Web Developer with agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, customize, and maintain websites across WordPress, Squarespace, and other major template-based platforms.
  • Design and develop responsive marketing emails, landing pages, and templates within the HubSpot ecosystem.
  • Use Figma files to create pixel-perfect web experiences, ensuring that design sensibility and brand integrity are maintained during development.
  • Write clean, efficient HTML/CSS to customize templates and solve layout challenges that "out-of-the-box" solutions cannot.
  • Manage site environments using Cloudways. You will handle the deployment of sites and ensure the hosting architecture is optimized.
  • Conduct rigorous staging site reviews to test functionality, responsiveness, and UX before any work goes live.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance contractor to oversee monthly updates, security patches, and general site health.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • You prioritize user experience and understand how design choices impact user behavior.
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress (including theme/plugin customization) and Squarespace.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and a solid understanding of how to manipulate web templates.
  • Proven experience with HubSpot development, specifically for email marketing and lead generation assets.
  • High proficiency in Figma for extracting assets and understanding design specifications.
  • Experience managing servers or applications via Cloudways or similar cloud-hosting platforms.
  • A disciplined approach to staging, testing, and documentation.
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment or supporting multiple brand identities simultaneously.
