Role: UX Strategist

Location: Remote (EST only!)

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Rate: $45-60/hr DOE (w2)

Clutch is looking for a UX Strategist with agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead stakeholder interviews and user research sessions to uncover business objectives.
  • Develop UX artifacts, including user personas, journey maps, site maps, and diagrams.
  • Partner with creative teams to ensure design concepts align with the strategic vision and requirements.
  • Define the structure and flow of digital products to ensure workflows are efficient.
  • Analyze user data to identify friction points and propose improvements to enhance ROI.
  • Lead internal and client-facing discovery to drive project momentum.
  • Oversee usability testing and provide actionable recommendations based on feedback.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX strategy within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a strategic approach to UX, showcasing process documents (discovery findings, wireframes, flowcharts) rather than just visuals.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to present and translate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Previous client experience in B2B and retail sectors preferred!
  • Strong experience with large website projects, working across platforms like WordPress and Drupal.
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, and familiarity with collaborative platforms like Miro or FigJam.
  • Comfortable working with data from platforms like Google Analytics to inform design decisions.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot strategy based on shifting client needs or market trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, design, or similar required.
