Account Management Intern

Are you looking to start your career in advertising? Clutch has an amazing opportunity for outgoing, eager-to-learn individuals who want to break into the advertising industry, build real client experience, and make meaningful connections.

Clutch is looking for recent or upcoming graduates to intern with us on our Account Management team.

Internship

This opportunity is 30 hours per week You’ll learn on the job, grow within the organization, and there is potential for a full-time hire at the end of your internship.

This is a hands-on role, you’ll be learning by doing, not just observing.

About the job

You’ll have the ability to work with and support top brands, Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, agencies, and professionals from around the country.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify digital, creative, and marketing opportunities with new businesses by researching and communicating with prospects and clients
  • Make outbound cold calls to introduce Clutch and identify their business needs
  • Send outreach emails to prospective clients and follow up on leads
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and prospects
  • Build and maintain a network of potential clients through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
  • Recommend fresh ideas and strategies that contribute to long-term company growth
  • Support the social media manager with content creation, including filming behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and day-to-day agency content (you’ll be part of the story, not just watching it)

About you

We’re looking for a student or recent graduate who brings energy, curiosity, and a “figure it out” mindset.

You:

  • Bring an outgoing personality and strong communication skills (you don’t mind talking to new people and love a good convo)
  • Are comfortable speaking with prospects via phone and email, or at least willing to jump in and get there quickly
  • Can self-direct, stay organized
  • Have an interest in social media, storytelling, or just understanding how brands actually grow in real life
  • Are the type of person who notices trends, has ideas, and isn’t afraid to share them
  • Get excited by the idea of being part of deals, campaigns, and client wins from the ground up

Qualifications

  • Able to work on-site at Clutch’s headquarters in Philadelphia, PA
  • Currently a junior/senior in an Account Management or Business/Marketing track, or a recent graduate
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate ideas into strategy
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and clients
  • Interest in staffing, advertising, or business development (experience preferred but not required, drive matters more here)
