Role: Influencer Marketing Director

Location: New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Rate: $55-70/hr DOE (w2)

Clutch has a client looking for an Influencer Marketing Director with advertising or marketing agency experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Lead the day-to-day management of all influencer campaigns and team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative, strategy, and media teams to ensure seamless integration of assets, optimizing for performance and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Trends & Engagement: Proactively identify and capitalize on cultural moments and trending topics to maintain brand relevance and visibility.
  • Influencer & Creator Management: Oversee relationships with content creators and influencers.
  • Community Management Leadership: Oversee a team of Community Managers, ensuring consistent, on-brand engagement.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
  • Content Ideation & Development: Contribute to the creative development of influencer content.
  • Contribute to new business: Serve as the main point of contact for new business, with the ability to present to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience overseeing a team in the social media influencer campaigns space with a marketing, advertising, or media agency.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with content creators, influencers, clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, advertising, or similar.
  • Success with influencer campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X required.
  • Strong proficiency in presentation tools including PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote.
  • Proven experience working with influencers and creators.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and apply insights for optimization.
  • This role will split across operations, creative, campaign management, strategy, insights, and team leadership.
  • A passion for storytelling.
  • Experience with analysis and reporting required.
