Role: Art Supervisor - Pharma
Location: Remote (EST- MUST be located in NJ, PA, NY)
Salary: $125-145k DOE (w2)

Clutch is looking for an Art Supervisor with pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency experience for a client of ours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the creative lead for the visual evolution and execution of high-science pharmaceutical brands, specializing in complex therapeutic areas such as oncology, rare diseases, and neurology.
- Translate sophisticated clinical data and "high science" mechanisms of action into compelling, digestible visual narratives for healthcare professionals (HCPs)
- Oversee the end-to-end creative development of multichannel campaigns, ensuring visual consistency and brand integrity across print, digital, sales tools, and congress materials.
- Lead the creative execution of major product launches, navigating the high-pressure timelines and strategic shifts inherent in bringing a new molecule to market.
- Manage the complex process of label updates and data revisions, ensuring all visual assets are accurately updated to reflect new clinical indications or safety information.
- Collaborate closely with Copy Supervisors and Medical Directors to ensure visual concepts are medically accurate and align with the core scientific platform.
- Present creative work confidently to senior-level clients, articulating the strategic rationale behind visual directions and how they address specific HCP behavioral barriers.
- Direct and mentor junior art directors and designers, providing clear feedback to maintain a high standard of craft and conceptual thinking across the team.
- Partner with production and digital teams to ensure all creative output is optimized for its specific channel while remaining within the technical constraints of the pharma space.
- Navigate the MLR review process, proactively designing visual solutions that meet strict compliance standards without sacrificing aesthetic impact.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in an art direction role within a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating success in "high science" HCP categories, with specific depth in oncology, rare diseases, or neurology.
- Direct experience leading the launch of a pharmaceutical product, to post-launch optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in multichannel campaign development, including experience with label updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles for digital HCP engagements. Figma a plus!
- Strong familiarity with the timelines and approval processes unique to the pharmaceutical industry, including Veeva Vault or similar MLR platforms.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, science-heavy environment.
- MUST have a strong portfolio of relevant pharmaceutical samples to share for consideration!
